This concept actually started in France back in 2008 where a famous French fashion blogger decided to sell clothes from her overflowing wardrobe though an online store. The following year saw the birth of the online portal Videdressing.com which became a global community of fashion lovers buying and selling vintage pieces. This has just continued to grow year on year and when we – 3 French ladies – did meet in New Zealand in 2018, it was obvious that we had to do something similar in Auckland!

We love Fashion!

 
When we choose our outfit, it helps us gaining confidence. We can play with the many sides of our personality and be in line with a certain mood; today I feel more in a “rock mood”, tomorrow I’ll be a working woman and Sunday, it’s sunny so I’ll enjoy a light and colourful dress. It definitely helps augmenting what you like about you and can also hide some of the imperfections that you wish to keep only for you.

We love our Planet!

 

We don’t want this desire to change clothes every day to impact too much our planet so we recycle. We are sure you all have once said: “It’s been a while I haven’t put this pant on!”. If you did love it when you bought it, there’s for sure someone who’ll love it now. It is just a win-win-win (you, your buyer and our planet).
